Before joining Winston, Ted worked as an associate in the Chicago office of a multinational law firm. While a law student, Ted interned with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, Criminal Appeals Division.
Ted is passionate about expanding access to free and low-cost legal assistance in Chicago. Before entering private practice, Ted was a law fellow for the Legal Aid Society of Metropolitan Family Services. He represented low-income tenants in disputes before the Circuit Court of Cook County, and successfully negotiated with property management companies to find suitable resolutions for his clients and avoid litigation. Ted continues to support the Legal Aid Society as a member of the Metropolitan & Legal Aid Associate Board.
Ted received his J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2019, where he was an executive editor of the Northwestern University Law Review and a Kirkland & Ellis Scholar in Constitutional Law. He received his B.A., magna cum laude, in sociology from the College of Wooster in 2013.
