Co-Chair of Winston & Strawn's CLOs/Fund Finance Practice, Nolan is a finance lawyer with a wide range of experience in corporate finance matters, including corporate lending, structured finance, and fund finance transactions.
Nolan is a corporate finance lawyer, focusing his practice primarily on structured finance, fund finance, and other commercial financings. He has represented leading financial institutions, asset managers, private equity sponsors and corporate issuers in connection with secured and unsecured credit facilities, securitizations, CLOs, warehouse/leverage facilities, subscription facilities and private placements. Nolan has complementary experience in corporate governance and general corporate matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Nolan worked in business consulting, product development and management, and economics consulting, where he served in a variety of capacities that involved the interface of regulatory policy, new technologies, and business planning.
Nolan was recognized as a “Key Lawyer” in The Legal 500 US in the areas of Structured Finance: Securitization in 2023 and Finance: Commercial Lending in 2024.

Nolan received a B.S. in Foreign Service in 1998 from Georgetown University and a J.D., cum laude, in 2009 from Georgetown University Law Center.
